Audrey R. Rothstein
Board of Directors

Professional photographer Audrey Rothstein uses photography to help nonprofits and families tell stories of connection, compassion, and hope. Through Audrey Rothstein Photography, she specializes in nonprofit, community, family, portrait, and event photography that celebrates authentic moments and meaningful relationships.
Before launching her photography business, Audrey spent more than 30 years in nonprofit and association leadership and communications, experience that gives her a deep understanding of mission-driven organizations and the moments that matter most. She has served on the CaringMatters Board of Directors since 2015, including five years as Board Chair, and continues to serve as a Board Member. She also served for 11 years on the Board of Circle Camps for Grieving Children, where she directed its flagship camp in Maine.
Audrey's commitment to CaringMatters is rooted in both professional experience and her own family's journey through grief. She and her husband raised three children, including two who lost their mother as young children—an experience that deepened her appreciation for compassionate bereavement support for families.
After completing CaringMatters' volunteer training, her involvement included volunteer service, board leadership, and photography, documenting the organization's mission through images that celebrate the strength, resilience, and connections at the heart of CaringMatters.
In 2023, CaringMatters honored Audrey with the Jerry Gimmel Loyalty Award, recognizing her years of exceptional leadership, volunteer service, and steadfast commitment to the organization's mission.
