Born in Togo and raised in the United States, Tracy Ayida joined CaringMatters as an intern from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County in 2025. She is currently pursuing her BSW and studies psychology as well. She specializes in pediatrics and childcare and works in healthcare offices around the DMV outside of CaringMatters.

“Growing up, the thought of death and grieving was taboo and dismissed...” she said, “I am eager to be a part of these wonderful volunteers who put themselves out there in all ways to help those who need support during trying times.”

As a volunteer at the organization, she brings a multicultural perspective and is delighted to lend a helping hand wherever she can.
