Susanne (Sue) DeGraba has held several leadership positions on the CaringMatters Board of Directors. After serving as Secretary, she was elected Treasurer in 2024 and Vice Chair in 2026. Sue is a retired financial professional with a background in education.  During her career, she held financial management roles at Cornell University, Georgetown University, and The Catholic University of America.  She also worked for Price Waterhouse and in her early career, Sea Pines Plantation Company and Palmetto Dunes Resort in Hilton Head, SC.  Sue retired in 2016 after 14 years as Chief Financial Officer for Montgomery County Public Schools in Rockville, MD.  She holds two degrees from Cornell University – an MBA and a BS in Hotel Administration and was a Certified Public Accountant. She graduated from Leadership Montgomery twice: Core program 2008 and Senior program 2020.
