Ollie Surio joined CaringMatters in 2025 as a social work intern, while attending the University of Maryland, Baltimore County for their Bachelors in Social Work. They hold an associates degree in general studies, psychology. 

 

Their interest in the psychology of human development, and what life looks like in later years is what inspired them to pursue an internship at CaringMatters. They help with administrative duties, patient intake, and client visits. Prior to CaringMatters, Ollie has worked in medical practices where they have advocated for patients to doctors. They hope to take away from CaringMatters the knowledge of what health care and advocacy look like in later life.
