Kenneth C. Cook is the Executive Vice President, Sandy Spring Bank. Previously, he was the Co-President and Chief Executive Officer of Revere Bank. Mr. Cook’s banking career spans over 35 years of serving businesses and individuals throughout the Greater Washington region. Prior to joining Revere Bank, Mr. Cook served as Regional President, Suburban Washington for PNC Bank, where he led a major transition during and after PNC Bank’s acquisition of Mercantile Bankshares Corporation in 2007.

 

His work in the community includes serving as Immediate Past Chairman of the Maryland Bankers Association Board of Directors. He is a member of Board of Directors of the Montgomery College Foundation and serves on the Washington Area Advisory Board of Best Buddies Maryland. Mr. Cook previously served as Chairman of the Montgomery County Executive’s Economic Advisory Council. 

 

Ken holds a Master of Business Administration Degree from Loyola College and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from Towson State University, where he graduated magna cum laude.
