Jody joined the Board of Directors in 2017 after serving as a volunteer for several years. She is a Registered Dietitian at Maryland Weight Care and previously served as Director of Communications at the Office of Disease Prevention at the National Institutes of Health. Jody’s interest in CaringMatters is rooted in her family’s personal experience supporting a loved one through serious illness and loss. After learning more about the scope of CaringMatters’ work and the breadth of its programs and outreach, she became eager to use her commitment, organizational, and communications skills to help ensure that others have access to compassionate support during some of life’s most difficult moments.
