Claude Thomas (she/they) joined the CaringMatters team as an intern in 2023. Claude is also a master’s level student at the University of Maryland School of Social Work and passionate about social-justice oriented approaches to health and wellness. What brings Claude to this field is a desire to promote human dignity and alleviate suffering through compassion, collaboration, and creativity. Claude’s background is in public health, and they have previous experience working in clinical and community-based settings, primarily with pediatric and disabled populations. 

 

Claude is working with Amy Fier LCSW-C, Senior Director of Patient and Caregiver Services, to connect caregivers with additional support and community resources.
